Reaction and Quickness are at a premium. With the Pro Rating, SPARQ has developed a more complete measurement of athleticism in elite athletes. In the Pro Rating, SPARQ also supplements the traditional combine tests with tests that give deeper insight into an athlete's reaction, visual skills and explosiveness.

SPARQ Football Pro Rating is intended for elite high school, college and pro athletes and consists of these tests: vertical jump, standing broad jump, 10-yard dash, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, L-drill, bench press, 5kg Power Ball throw and two vision/reaction tests.

The Pro Rating is built to measure not only the "ideal" football player–in terms of athleticism–but provides a deeper look into the sources of football-specific athleticism.

Individuals are scored using a 100-point scale, the values of which are based on an extensive database of historic NFL Combine performance data as well as vision-related data from Dr. Al Reichow, Professor of Optometry at Pacific University and director of the Pacific University Sports Vision Program.
